Mebeverine 135mg tablets are used to relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gut disorders such as chronic irritable colon, spastic constipation, mucous colitis, and spastic colitis. They help ease abdominal pain, cramps, bloating, and wind by relaxing the muscles in the gut.
Precautions:
- Do not take if you are allergic to mebeverine or any of the ingredients.
- Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Usually well tolerated, but may occasionally cause mild side effects such as skin reactions or dizziness. Stop taking and seek advice if you notice unusual symptoms.

Mebeverine is an antispasmodic medicine. It works directly on the smooth muscle of the digestive tract, reducing spasms and cramps without affecting the normal movement of the bowel.
How to take: Adults and children over 12 years can usually take 1 tablet three times daily. Swallow the tablets whole with water, preferably about 20 minutes before meals. Do not chew or crush. Your doctor may reduce the dose once your symptoms are under control. Not suitable for children under 12 years.
