Phenergan (promethazine hydrochloride) 25mg tablets are used for allergies, travel sickness, nausea, and short-term treatment of insomnia.
Precautions:
- May cause significant drowsiness ??? avoid alcohol, driving, or machinery.
- Do not take if allergic to promethazine or other phenothiazines.
- Consult your doctor before use if you have breathing problems, epilepsy, liver disease, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Promethazine is a sedating antihistamine. It works by blocking histamine and affecting certain brain receptors to reduce allergy symptoms, nausea, and induce drowsiness.
How to take: Adults: for allergies, take 1 tablet at night. For travel sickness, take 1 tablet at night or as advised. For insomnia, take 1 tablet at bedtime. Maximum dose: 2 tablets in 24 hours. Not suitable for children under 16 for sleep.
